When you register on Contrii, we ask for your First Name, Last Name, Email, and Password. This information is stored securely on our servers to authenticate your account. If you choose to delete your account, we will remove this personal information.
However, it’s important to note that when you create groups, add expenses, or add members, this data is shared with other users in your groups. Since these records are linked to multiple members, it’s not possible to delete all of this data solely based on your account deletion request.
If you would still like to have this information deleted, please follow these steps:
- Request a copy of the data we store about you – This will give you an overview of the information we have on file.
- Review the data shared with others – Examine the groups, expenses, and members linked to your account.
- Obtain consent from other group members – Since this data involves other users, you’ll need their consent before we can proceed with deletion.
- Submit your consent and deletion request – Once you have collected consent from all relevant members, please contact us via our contact page.
